Families of Pre-K, TK, Kindergarten and 1st grade students are invited to meet our school principal and teachers, get a school tour and more!
Families, please make your way to our school MPR upon your arrival. After a brief welcome from our Principal, Mrs. Miller and a school tour, families will be escorted to their students classroom.

Class lists are available on the Parent Portal in PowerSchool (opens in a new tab)(opens in a new tab) (opens in a new tab) beginning at 5:00pm this evening. If you have the ThrillShare app, you should also be able to view the class. You will be receiving a welcome email from your teacher.Our staff spent a great deal of time creating balanced classes for this year. It is a complex process that involves reviewing factors such as academics, social needs, behavioral concerns, learning styles, and friendship groups. While we are always happy to discuss questions or concerns that parents may have, please know that we do not grant requests for specific teachers and cannot accommodate any changes in class placements.

School starts on Tuesday, August 18th at 8:00am. At 7:40 am our staff will clap for our students at the front gate and families are invited to walk their students(s) to their class lines on the blacktop. Around 7:55 once the teacher starts walking the class to their room we ask families to quickly “kiss and go” so that students can start their EPIC learning for the day.

The first day of school is always well attended by students and families. We kindly ask that you arrive early to park in the nearby streets. Please be mindful of our neighbors. Don't block their driveway and please respect all the traffic laws. The safety and well being of our students, their families and community is of great importance.

Cell Phones and Smart Watches
Last year, the EUSD Board of Education approved a new regulation that mandates a "powered off and out of sight" environment to minimize distractions and support student well-being. The policy prohibits the use of smartphones and other mobile communication devices, such as smart watches, at any time while students are on school grounds. During the school day, those devices are to be turned off and kept in a student’s backpack. Also, please note that the school is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal electronic devices, including cell phones and other valuable items brought to school.

Toys from Home
We ask students to leave all personal toys, keychains, and fidgets at home where they are safe and not in classrooms and the playground where they can distract from learning and safe play. Please check your child’s backpack to make sure all personal toys stay at home. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Birthdays
While we appreciate the joy and excitement that accompany our students’ birthdays, we do not allow families to bring food items to their child’s classroom as stated in our EUSD Wellness Policy. We also do not allow balloons on campus.
We encourage parents to consider bringing non-food items, such as pencils, stickers, and stamps for classmates.

• Help your child adjust to earlier bedtimes. Children need 9-12 hours of sleep each night.
• School gate opens at 7:40 am
• Conway Academy offers FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL students.
• Breakfast is served from 7:40 am - 7:55 am in the school cafeteria.
• Bell rings and school starts at 8 am.
• School is out at 2:30 pm (Thursday school is out at 12:15 pm).
• Please send a small snack and a reusable water bottle with your student.
• Students are not allowed to share food or drinks.
• Please send students with closed toed comfortable shoes.
• Parents, family members and guests must always check-in the front office before coming on campus.
• First day of school is August 18, 2026.
