Principal Update
Hello Conway Families,
Thank you so much for joining us for Back to School Night! Your energy and engagement made the evening a wonderful success, showing just how strong, supportive, and committed our crew really is.
Partnering with you is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to fostering an EPIC environment where Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, and Compassion guide our Cougars' daily growth. Every student, staff member, and family plays a vital role in steering our educational journey—because we are crew, not passengers.
As we step into September, we are excited to celebrate Attendance Awareness Month! At Conway, we truly believe that Every Day Counts. Being at school every day and on time ensures our Cougars don't miss out on vital learning or daily connections.
Why Every Day Counts:
- Building Lifelong Habits: Consistent attendance builds a foundation for long-term success.
- Staying on Track: Missing just two days a month adds up to 10% of the school year, making it harder to keep pace.
- Strengthening Our Crew: When your child is here, our whole classroom community thrives.
To celebrate students with perfect attendance through August and September, we’ll be awarding Golden Cougar Paws! Be sure to ask your Cougar what EPIC traits earn them Cougar Paws at school.
While illnesses happen, we encourage you to schedule non-urgent appointments and trips outside of school hours whenever possible. If your family is facing hurdles getting to school, please reach out—we are here to support you.

ELOP Explore After School Enrichment
EUSD students are given the opportunity to EXPLORE their unlimited potential through our our extensive menu of enrichment and intervention classes! These after school enrichment and intervention classes are led by both outside vendors and EUSD teachers.
Priority enrollment will go to foster/homeless youth, students eligible for free or reduced-price meals, and English learners.

Band

PTA
When parents join the PTA, amazing things happen for our school! Your membership isn't just a sign-up—it’s a direct investment in our students' everyday experience.
In order to make it a little more exciting, the top class in TK-2nd & 3rd-6th by Friday September 18 will win a pizza party! The best part is that family members will be able to attend and enjoy the celebration!
Our membership goal for this school year is to have a total of 200 members pay their dues.
We currently have a total of 67 members and we are counting on the support from school staff, Conway families and community members to meet our goal.
Anyone can be a member of PTA. Please consider becoming a PTA member today and help us write this year's success story!

Join us to celebrate the new school year at our first Restaurant Night of the school year at Chuck E Cheese's!
This is one of our most popular fundraisers and you won't want to miss it. The best part is that Chuck E Cheese's will donate up to 20% of sales to our school.
