What an incredible third week of school!

Time is flying, and our campus is buzzing with learning, connection, and high energy. A major highlight was our school-wide assembly focused on Leadership and a Growth Mindset. We gathered to talk about what it means to lead by example, showing kindness, taking responsibility, and lifting others, and how a growth mindset empowers us to embrace challenges as opportunities to learn. Seeing our students engaged, thoughtful, and eager to step into their roles as school leaders set a wonderful tone for the months ahead. Inside the classrooms, teachers and students were hard at work solidifying daily routines and diving deeper into learning. Walking through the halls, I saw active engagement in every room, students collaborating, asking insightful questions, and taking pride in their effort. We capped off this productive week with a fantastic Friday! It was so much fun to see bright smiles and a sea of vivid colors across campus. Thanks to our outstanding attendance today, the school felt charged with a true rainbow of energy. I hope to see many of you at our PTA Family Picnic this afternoon! Wishing all of our families a safe, fun, and relaxing 3-day weekend. Have a great Labor Day. See you on Tuesday!

September is all about being a LEADer and having a growth mindset at Miller. This week, during our character assembly led by Ms. Sylvester, our students learned what it takes to be a leader: by being a good listener, by solving problems effectively, and by being a good role model. Our Mustang leaders know that we're all still learning and growing, but that we should always try our best. Students worked with their teachers on what to say and do when things might be difficult. Every class created a growth mindset poster they can look at every day.

We have 4 classrooms that have maintained a 98% attendance rate for the first weeks of school! Shout-out to the students in the following classes!

All families should have received a magnet this week with the school-year calendar; check your student's backpack. Please use this information to plan your family vacations to avoid unexcused absences for your student.

Join Us for Wednesday Family Hub Starting Sept 16

We are excited to invite you to our new Wednesday Family Hub at the Family Engagement Center! Starting Wednesday, September 16, our doors will be open every Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in Room 19. Check in at the front office for a visitor's badge, and join us! The Family Hub is a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect, share ideas, and learn together.

What to Expect: Weekly Rotating Topics! Engaging discussions on topics ranging from school resources and parenting strategies to practical family tips.

Little Ones Welcome: Bring your babies and toddlers along to enjoy our dedicated play area. Simply stop by the front office to check in, then make your way down to Room 19.
