I hope you've all had an amazing summer break! I'm super excited about the upcoming school year and I can't wait to see you all very soon.

My goal is to send out a staff bulletin each Friday and ask that you always read through these sometime before school begins on Monday. I promise to try and be concise and to include humor to make reading as painless as possible.

As always, I welcome feedback or suggestions about how I can make the bulletin as informative and helpful as possible.

All teachers are welcome to come on campus and get your keys anytime starting this Thursday, August 6. I just ask that you please avoid asking the office staff for any assistance until August 11th as they have overflowing plates as they work to get things ready for school to begin.

For any certificated staff who are able to attend, we will be meeting next Tuesday, August 11th for our PD/Planning day from 8:00-3:00. Everyone will be paid at their hourly rate for the time.

We have hired a new SAI teacher named Nicholas Sienkiewicz who will be taking over in June's position. He is still working through the HR paperwork process and should be joining us next Thursday, August 13.

Sadly, our librarian Drea has resigned from her position for personal reasons with her last day being next Thursday, August 13. She is sad to leave us but this is something she needs to do at this time.

This summer we hired a new custodian named Joaquin Tomas who is currently working with the summer crew. Joaquin is new to our district and is excited to be part of our Quantum team!

I know many staff were hoping we could hire Rafael but unfortunately, he is currently working as a sub for the district and is not on the eligibility list. Thankfully, Rafael is working a couple of days to help train Joaquin.

Teachers are to complete the annual mandated trainings on their own no later than August 31. To access the trainings, please click the link below. You won't be able to electronically sign the form at the bottom of the page until August 13 but you can start the trainings now if you'd like.
