Seeking Volunteers to Help with Reading
We are looking for parents who are interested in volunteering to help with a reading intervention program for 4th and 5th grade students.
The times needed are 8:15-9:15 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. Volunteers who can come help weekly on any of those days are appreciated!

4th Grade Family Lunch Day this Wednesday
Our family lunch day for 4th grade students will take place on Wednesday, Sept 16th at 11:00-11:40. Families can bring food or your child can eat the school-provided lunch.
After eating, families are invited to join students on the playground if they would like. After lunch is over, we ask that students stay in school until the end of the day.
4th/5th Grade Movie & Munchies this Thursday
We are excited to host our first movie and munchies event for our 4th & 5th grade students on Thursday, September 17 from 12:45-2:45. The movie will be "Ratatouille."
Price: Free to all Quantum students who demonstrate safe, responsible, and respectful behaviors.

Snacks, soda, and water will be sold at the event. Students may bring cash for those concessions or parents may use the new pre-pay option set up by our PTA. Click the link below to access that option.

The 10-day countdown is ON! That’s right, just 10 days left in our PTA Membership Drive, and the competition is heating up.
The homeroom class with the most memberships will score a Frozen Yogurt Party from Yogurtland!

Food Distribution
Free Groceries For You And Your Family – Hidden Valley Middle Food Pantry
Feeding San Diego is hosting a free food distribution for community members attending the Hidden Valley Middle School Resource Fair.
Stop by the festival to receive dry goods and fresh produce at our walk-up distribution. Please bring bags and/or a wagon to transport your groceries.

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
ELAC is a group of parents and staff who work together to support the success of English Learner students, providing parents a voice in school decisions while helping ensure all families feel informed, included, and supported. ELAC meetings are held four times during the school year and all parents are invited to attend.
We currently have three open chair positions on our ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee):
