Coyote Connection

Dear Reidy Creek Families,

I am excited to share that we are more than halfway to our school-wide goal of $55,000. On Monday, we will have our first school-wide prize, where students will get to watch many of our teachers compete in a sumo-wrestling match. Classes that have already raised $750 will also receive ice cream. With one week left, we are still hoping to raise $20,000 more for Reidy Creek! Every single dollar raised stays right here at our school and directly supports our students.

Last year, the money raised from the Bubble Run was used to benefit all students. We purchased new recess equipment for Recess Reimagined, updated academic resources for classrooms, and bought new incentives for our Coyote student store and positive behavior supports. We also provided students with memorable field trips, special on-campus experiences, and evening community events. This year, we hope to use PTA funds to finalize our outdoor classroom space by the Kindergarten wing and to purchase tables, chairs, and umbrellas.

These are the extras that truly make a difference for students and help create a positive, engaging school environment. None of this would be possible without your generosity, and I know that together, we can reach our goal!

The Bubble Run will be on Thursday, October 1st. Here are the running times for each grade level. Parents are welcomed to join and run along their child!

TK: 8:30 - 9:05am
4th & 5th: 9:20 - 10:05am
2nd & 3rd: 10:20 - 11:05am
K/1st: 11:20 - 12:05pm

For all grade levels except 4th grade, picture day is this Monday! Please have your child dress their best and come ready to smile for their school picture. We’re looking forward to capturing a special school-year memory for each of our students!

Reminder: Make-ups and 4th-grade picture day will be on Tuesday, October 6th. Mr. Lake's class will also take their pictures then.

As we quickly approach the mid-trimester mark on Friday, October 2nd, parent-teacher conferences are just a few weeks away. You should have received a sign-up link from your child’s teacher yesterday. I encourage all families to sign up for a conference, as this is a valuable opportunity to learn more about your child’s academic, social, and emotional progress. If you did not receive a sign-up link, please reach out to your child’s teacher or me, and we will be happy to provide one.

The popcorn has arrived! Dr. Loh is working hard and getting hungry. Save the popcorn from sneaky snacky teachers. We only need 17 memberships to go before we get to give this popcorn out to students! Signing up is easy and only takes a few minutes. Please help us reach our membership goal this year!

Our annual Fall Boo Bash will be held on Friday, October 30th from 5pm-7pm. This event will feature games, crafts, food, live music from DJ Grizz, a jump house, and, of course, candy. It's a fun event and a great opportunity to connect with families outside of school.

We still need many parent volunteers to help plan for and run this event. If you are able to help, please fill out the volunteer form below.

Hello Reidy Creek Families!

Next week, we will have our first Lunch & Learn of the 2026–27 school year! This first Lunch & Learn will be for 1st Grade families.

We wanted to send a few friendly reminders about our Family Lunch Days:

• Please sign-in near the MPR gate when you arrive.
• Each Lunch & Learn begins with a short presentation in the MPR.
• After the presentation, families will head to the courtyard to enjoy lunch with their student.
• Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit and enjoy lunch.
• You may bring food for yourself and your student ONLY.
